Fees and Payment

Consultation and In-Room Procedure Fees

The initial consultation fee is payable on the day of consultation. If you have a valid referral from your general practitioner / specialist and have your Medicare card with you then you will receive a rebate for part of the consultation and for all of the procedures performed during the consultation.

If you have registered your bank details with Medicare, we are able to process the claim electronically with Medicare and you should receive the rebate in 24 to 36 hours.  If you have not registered your bank details and would like this option, please call Medicare on 132 011 prior to your appointment.

Unfortunately, private health funds do not contribute to consultations, but will contribute to surgical procedures (if applicable) provided you have the appropriate cover.

Surgical Procedure Fees

Our fees have been developed after referring to the Australian Medical Association (AMA) and the Medical Benefits Scheme (MBS) as set out by the Australian Health Service Alliance (AHSA) and Medicare.

All patients considering surgery will receive a detailed quote listing all item numbers relating to their procedure. In addition to Dr Levin’s fee, you will need to obtain a quote from his anaesthetist, as well from the hospital in which you are having surgery. Surgical payments are required 2 weeks prior to your procedure to secure your place on that operating list.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods: cash, credit card, electronic funds transfer at point of sale (EFTPOS), direct deposit via electronic funds transfer (EFT).

Note: We regret that we are unable to accept cheques.
